Vince and Patience both have strong business backgrounds and years of experience in project management, team leadership and client satisfaction. While Patience is involved in the family’s company, she continues to work in accounting for a local health care company. For Vince, Caring Transitions is a chance to start an encore career as an entrepreneur.
“I was laid off from my material coordinator position and then, after working with a career coach, decided that what I really wanted to do was open my own business. We did a lot of research and Caring Transitions really seemed like a great fit,” Vince said. “Caring Transitions has offered us the opportunity to serve and assist seniors and their families through a potentially stressful time in their lives,” Vince said.
In addition to their work with Caring Transitions, Vince and Patience have raised three children and are very active in the community. Vince, a Colorado native who has lived both north and south of the city, coached little league baseball and both he and Patience spent many years involved in Boy Scouts. Now that they are working with seniors, the two have been spending time with senior organizations and are looking to be more involved in the west Denver community as small business owners.
