Evidence In Motion Names New Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Director
Louisville, Kentucky (PRWEB) January 10, 2014 -- Evidence In Motion (EIM) is proud to announce that Jason Rodeghero, PT, DPT, PhD, OCS, ATC, FAAOMPT, has been named Director of the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program, effective immediately.
Dr. Rodeghero, who was serving as the Assistant Residency & Fellowship Program Director and Director of Clinical Mentoring before assuming the role of Orthopaedic Residency Director, has been with EIM since a chance encounter with Dr. John Childs, PT, PhD, MBA, in 2005 where he was encouraged to enroll in an Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. Shortly after completing his Fellowship, he began assisting with EIM coursework and helping Dr. Childs and Dr. Rob Wainner, PT, PhD, with weekend intensive courses.
“I want to extend my deepest congratulations to Dr. Rodeghero,” said Dr. Wainner, previous Orthopaedic Residency Director. “EIM’s Orthopaedic Residency is already a best-in-class program but I have no doubt that Jason’s hard work and talent will only help us continue to achieve more for our students. I’m excited for Jason and looking forward to seeing what he can do with the program.”
Dr. Rodeghero’s visions for the program include building upon the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency’s current momentum and increasing connectivity between teachers and students. Dr. Wainner will assume a new position with EIM, to be announced in the coming weeks.
“I’m thrilled and appreciative to be named Director of the Orthopaedic Residency program,” said Dr. Rodeghero. “I know firsthand how vital the mentorship that these programs provide can be and I look forward to helping our students take advantage of the opportunity to further their careers.”
EIM’s 12-14 month Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency cohorts begin annually in January and July. For more information about the Orthopaedic Residency and a full list of EIM’s educational offerings, please visit the EIM website.
