Knetik Media Completes Transformation Year; Expects Aggressive Growth in 2014

In 2013, Knetik Media experienced growth in its delivery of OTT video and a very healthy expansion of its gaming business. In the coming year, the company’s escalation in Transmedia will reach music and digital print.
Knetik Media highlights include honors from Florida 50 Companies to Watch, GROW Florida in economic expansion, a move into new corporate headquarters better able to serve its U.S. based technology team, and the unveiling of a new brand that better reflects the company’s ability to serve all types of media concurrently with a single powerful platform. In addition, the company secured additional funding and investors that sets the foundation for a series A funding round in Q1 2014.
The company also benefitted from the expertise provided by DMG Worldwide Consulting, which helped manage the accounting and financing environment. This gave the principals assurance that the financial elements were in excellent order and allowed them to focus on their core competencies and business development. Further, David Greene, principal and founder of DMG Worldwide Consulting has been appointed to the board of Knetik Media.

Video
The company expanded the Middle East Broadcasting Company (MBC) Shahid Platform – with PC, Windows 8 Mobile, and iPad device support. The Knetik platform supports over 3 million daily viewers and millions of application downloads driven by our technology.
Knetik also premiered Nutan.TV, a first to market MENA region Video on Demand service based on classic programming content to expatriates. Nutan.TV provides diverse content in a wide range of languages – including Hindi, Malayalam and Urdu – as well as niche programming from smaller content providers.
In 2014, Knetik plans to launch a classic TV and movie service to viewers worldwide.
Gaming
Knetik Media has deep roots as a gaming company. The platform specializes in fostering community engagement and industry leading monetization. In 2013, Knetik supported the development of a meta-game site targeted to tap the social activity of collegiate sports fans with marketing launch plans and announcement in late Q1.
Knetik Media also assisted Red Stallion Interactive, a gaming publisher, with increased distribution of video games and entertainment across theMENA region.
A number of other partner projects leveraging the platform are underway with several scheduled launches in Q2 and Q3.
Music and Digital Media
In 2014, Knetik Media is on schedule to launch OTT projects for Music and Digital Print. Robinett noted that the company is working on several white label campaigns in the music and print space but is contractually not allowed to reveal details.
The activity across the spectrum has enabled the company to hire five new developers & technology specialists at its Central Florida offices. The company will be further expanding its space in February to allow for continued growth. “The demand for Transmedia services is growing by the minute.
