Industry Veteran Mark Greenberg, M.A. Joins North Bay Recovery Center as Director of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Program Development
San Rafael, California (PRWEB) January 17, 2014 -- Mark Greenberg, M.A., has joined North Bay Recovery Center as Director of Program Development. Mr. Greenberg's significant industry experience has provided him with a broad base of senior management, clinical leadership, addiction treatment program design, public relations and business development skills.

Prior to joining North Bay Recovery Center, Mark was Vice President of Business Development for Central Recovery Treatment. Mark has also served as Executive Director for Michael’s House in Palm Springs. Mark was also a Vice President of The Betty Ford Center for thirteen years where his achievements included the planning, design, and implementation of their Professional Recovery Program and Residential Day Treatment. At North Bay Recovery Center, Mark will work closely alongside Co-founders Tyler Knight and Ryan Copper in the continued development of the center's drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs.

Mark holds the distinct honor of being selected four consecutive years to serve on the American Bar Association's Commission Advisory Board on Lawyer Assistance Programs.
Mark was personally trained in crisis intervention by the late Vernon Johnson, founder of the Johnson Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and has led hundreds of interventions.
Mark earned his BA and MA in Behavioral Science from National University in San Diego. He is also a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Chemical Dependency Certification Program, and holds a lifetime instructor credential in Psychology with California Community Colleges. Mark has been a member of the American College of Addiction Treatment Administrators.
