VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) will celebrate being the first healthcare organization in the United States to be awarded Planetree Silver Merit recognition for Significant Advancement in Patient-Centered Care with a special award ceremony on Thursday, January 16, 2014, 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon. The ceremony will be held in the VAAAHS auditorium, located at 2215 Fuller Road in Ann Arbor. The event will feature remarks from VA Leadership including the Veterans Health Administration’s Acting Deputy Under Secretary for Health for Operations and Management and the Director of the Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation as well as a presentation of the Planetree Silver award.
