Every quarter StockViews offers promotions to members of the community who have shown exceptional promise as investors. Today StockViews is pleased to announce the results of the 2013 4Q round of promotions. In total 27 of members qualified for promotion – 17 for the rank of “Rising Star” and 9 for the more senior rank of “Senior Trader”

The awards were based on members meeting the following criteria
1.    A performance track record in the top 15% of members (Rising Stars) or top 5% of members (Senior Traders)
2.    A performance track record of more than 3 months (Rising Stars) or 6 months (Senior Traders)

The 27 successful candidates will be published tomorrow (10/01/13) at the StockViews Morning Meeting and will earn the right to display the relevant icon next to their avatar as an indicator of their influence. Brian Godoy, head of Marketing at StockViews, said "We congratulate these members, who have shown such extraordinary promise as investors. This quarter we are particularly excited to promote a select few members to the rank of ‘Senior Traders’ - these are the ones to watch for 2014!”

Promotions will be offered each subsequent quarter in April, July and October. Members showing exceptional performance over longer periods may then gain further promotion to the ranks of 'Star Trader' and 'Legend'. The criteria that members are required to meet are laid out in the "How it Works" page of the website.
