This release marks an important milestone - the first ever mobile version of Remote Utilities remote control software for iOS and Android. Now you can access the remote Hosts from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Just like the desktop Viewer, the mobile Viewer connects to a remote PC using its IP address or a special ID to bypass firewalls and routers.
Marat Magomedov, CEO, said, “The release of the mobile version is a major step forward towards multi-platform support. Individuals and businesses who use Remote Utilities for day-to-day remote access will certainly benefit from this update. They will be able to access their remote PCs over a secure channel while on the go. And there is no additional cost whatsoever.”
The Windows version of Remote Utilities has also been improved. Now when you launch the RDP connection mode the program uses the native RDP client. This makes RDP sessions less susceptible to errors and interruptions. Additionally, the Agent module can now handle UAC prompts provided that it is launched under an administrator account. Finally, the new version includes a number of minor fixes and improvements.
