Above all, this certification allows me to better diagnose and treat my patients’ foot problems and get them back on their feet faster.

Angela Drury, DPM, FACFAS, has met the rigorous qualifications for certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), and has been awarded the Registered in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) credential.
The RMSK credential validates the clinical expertise fundamental to musculoskeletal sonography practice worldwide and recognizes the skills and knowledge required for making consistent and reliable diagnoses in musculoskeletal ultrasound.
To earn the RMSK credential, Dr. Drury met the associations’ specific educational and professional experience requirement. She also passed the Musculoskeletal (MSK) sonography examination.
Dr. Drury is one of the few podiatrists in the country with this level of achievement.
Ultrasound is an important tool Dr. Drury uses everyday in her podiatry practice. Typically, podiatrists use X-rays to diagnose the foot, which is limited because it only shows bones. Ultrasound is a new, cutting-edge way to diagnose the foot because it shows nerves and muscles. This can help Dr. Drury better diagnose and treat soft tissue problems such as plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, foreign bodies, nerve problems and other foot disorders.
Commenting on Dr. Drury’s recent achievement as a new ARDMS Registrant, Drury noted that, “Above all, this certification allows me to better diagnose and treat my patients’ foot problems and get them back on their feet faster.” Dr. Drury is a podiatrist in Austin, TX and currently practices at 2312 Western Trails #103.
