ILX React to Continued Growth of Project Management Careers
(PRWEB UK) 13 January 2014 -- According to a recent survey from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the 2013 Project Management Salary Survey, the project management profession has experienced continued growth and remains a strong career choice for many, reports the Financial Post. This is the eighth edition of the survey, and is based on self-reported information on salaries for over 36,000 project management practitioners.
The survey reflect global trends, measuring information across 33 countries, and the highest salaries come from Australia, Switzerland, the USA, the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, Belgium, Sweden and the UK. Results indicating a rise in salaries for project management practitioners have also been found in previous surveys such as the 2013 Project Management Talent Gap Report, also from the Project Management Institute.
It has been predicted that the profession will grow by US$6.61 trillion and 15.7 million new project management roles will be created between 2010 and 2020.
