Accurate Background, Inc. Appoints Dowd as Board Member; Dowd Joins ABI Board Following Successful Board Assignment with eScreen
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- Accurate Background, Inc., a leader in the background screening industry, announces the appointment of Tim Dowd, former Director of eScreen and President and CEO of Current Analysis, to its board of directors.
Tim joins the ABI board following a successful board assignment with eScreen. Tim was a member of the eScreen board of directors from 2008 to its successful sale to Alere in 2012. During Tim's tenure at eScreen the business doubled revenues and tripled EBITDA. He was also instrumental to the Pembroke/eScreen merger in 2009.

Tim is also currently President and CEO of Current Analysis, a global market intelligence firm focused on the telecommunications and IT industry. Previously, Tim was President and CEO of INPUT, a government focused market research firm. Tim led INPUT from 2008 to its successful sale to Deltek in 2010. Tim also served as President of US Investigations Services, Inc. (USIS), Commercial Services Division (CSD), providing commercial and government clients with comprehensive employment screening and drug testing solutions from 2005 until its successful sale to Providence Equity in 2007. With complete operational and growth responsibility, Tim led a 650 person organization significantly growing revenues and earnings over a two year period. Prior to USIS, Tim spent three years with ChoicePoint, an information services firm specializing in credentialing and fraud prevention, as Vice President of the Workplace Solutions Division leading marketing, sales and business development activities.
Tim began his career at General Electric and gained early career leadership skills through the GE Management and Leadership programs. Over the course of his 16-year career at GE, he moved through progressively more responsible roles in marketing for GE Information Services and Vice President level leadership roles in business services sales, marketing and general management for GE Capital.
Mr. Dowd holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Emory University, a BS in Industrial Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a BA in Economics from Assumption College and is Six Sigma certified.
