New book, "Growing Big in God" by Dick Wright Helps New Believers Find Place in Church
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- The beginning of any journey is difficult. New Christian believers may find themselves unsure of where to turn after they come to know Jesus as their Savior. Author Dick Wright offers a road map for new believers find their way to spiritual growth and maturity in his new book, “Growing Big in God”.
When Wright founded the Community Christian Fellowship in 1999, he discovered a real lack of understanding about God and the things of God in new believers.
“Many new believers come from backgrounds with absolutely no exposure to church or God,” said Wright. “As I taught, I listened to the perceptions, questions and concerns of these new believers and addressed these issues weekly, offering answers and solutions from God’s Word to help them.”
This became the basis for his new book, “Growing Big in God,” which contains lessons for new believers to build and maintain their relationship with God.
“I wanted to help these new believers correct wrong perceptions, learn the truth and the way to spiritual maturity and to service to God,” Wright said.
