New Secret Wall Safe Designed to Look Like an Everyday Fuse Box Released by American Company Console Vault
(PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- Console Vault, a business specializing in unique security solutions for homes and automobiles, has developed a new secret wall safe that resembles a standard fuse box. The innovative design of the wall safe, called the Red Herring, enables owners to more securely hide their valuables in their home or office without compromising accessibility.
"We set out to essentially redesign the wall safe," says Tom Duengel, President of Console Vault and Lead Designer of the company. "By replicating the look and feel of an everyday fuse box, owners can freely install their safe essentially anywhere without having to compromise security."
The Red Herring also features a combo lock, which is displayed once the front panel is opened. "By including a secret secondary latching system to open the secret wall safe, we're adding an additional level of security to the safe," said Duengel.
The Red Herring is manufactured in the United States, as are all of Console Vault's products. The door of the walls safe is made of drill-resistant 12 gauge cold-rolled plate steel, and the interior features walls made of an impressive 16 gauge plate steel. The wall safe requires no batteries or a power source of any kind, and includes a built-in gun holster.
Installation is incredibly simple and is designed to fit into industry-standard 16'' centered wall studs. For most owners, installation takes around fifteen minutes.
"We're incredibly excited to offer the Red Herring," said Duengel. "We've taken innovation to a whole new level, equipping our customers with a wall safe that combines a covert design with the finest in American construction."
