American Gas Association Executives to Discuss Climate and Energy Legislation at NYSSA Luncheon
New York, NY (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- American Gas Association (AGA) executives will give a presentation to the investment community on the outlook for natural gas demand and supply, as well as regulatory and legislative changes on January 22, 2014 at the New York Society of Security Analysts.
The presentation by Gregg S. Kantor, 2014 Chairman, American Gas Association; President and CEO, NW Natural, and Dave McCurdy, President and CEO of American Gas Association, will emphasize the potential impact of climate and energy legislation and will address various issues regarding investment in this sector such as natural gas supply/demand, key legislative and white house issues, the investment outlook, and FERC and state regulatory issues.
The American Gas Association, founded in 1918 represents more than 200 local energy companies that deliver clean natural gas throughout the United States. There are more than 71 million residential, commercial, and industrial natural gas customers in the US, of which 92 percent—more than 65 million customers—receive their gas from AGA members. Today, natural gas meets almost one-fourth of the United States' energy needs.
