Discovery Saturday Is Back at the National Naval Aviation Museum
Pensacola, Florida (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- As part of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation’s Discovery Saturday series, please join us for these free Naval Aviation history presentations at the National Naval Aviation Museum.
10 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 25
As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Naval Air Station Pensacola, retired Navy Commander Jim Carter will present “Early Naval Aviators of NAS Pensacola.”
10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22
Award-winning military historian and author Bruce Gamble will present and sign his new book, “Target: Rabaul”, the final book in his acclaimed WWII War in the Pacific trilogy. This book and the other two books in Gamble’s Rabaul trilogy will be available for purchase at the museum store.
