“Given the dramatic growth of mobile smartphone users in China, the interest in reaching consumers in a way that is relevant to their interests and location becomes a priority for marketers,” said Ryan Golden, CEO of Moasis Global.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) January 15, 2014
Moasis Global, creators of the Intelligent Location Engine marketing platform, hit a major milestone in its efforts to market its products to the Asian market. The San Francisco Company received its first Chinese patent for a geo-grid technology. The development opens the door for the company’s location-based mobile marketing technologies in the Far East.
The patent titled, A System for Communicating Content, a Method and System for Allocating Content Provision Rights covers a core concept of the Company's technology. Patents covering this technology have also been granted in Australia and Singapore. Moasis' portfolio now consists of 4 issued patents and 17 pending patent applications.
“Obtaining international patents is an important part of the process to preserving the intellectual property rights for Moasis’ geo-grid technology, said Ryan Golden, CEO of Moasis Global.
China is becoming the world’s largest mobile society. With more than 1.2 billion mobile phones in circulation, smart phone penetration is growing faster than in most other countries. With more than 29 percent of the world’s mobile users in Asia, mobile marketing is introducing great opportunities for Chinese businesses of all sizes to engage with consumers in a way that is relevant and specific to their location.
“Given the dramatic growth of mobile smartphone users in China, the interest in reaching consumers in a way that is relevant to their interests and location becomes a priority for marketers,” Ryan Golden continued. “Using a grid approach to consumer targeting creates better opportunities for publishers, agencies and business owners looking to execute local campaigns around the world.”
The Company’s patent portfolio is divided into a first and second family of patent filings. The first family has been filed in the US as well as several countries where mobile marketing is a growing priority.
