The FSI Fiber Defender® Alarm Processor Units (APUs) integrate with the LINX™ access control system, providing an IP- based graphical user interface for a complete perimeter security solution.
The combined PL1-N system also offers real time annunciation and reporting of perimeter fence alarm conditions, as well as video interface and event recording capability. "Fiber SenSys and The Will-Burt Company have completed the necessary engineering and testing to ensure smooth integration of the systems", said Kazu Ikeda, FSI Chief Executive Officer & Chief Financial Officer. In addition, the use of insensitive lead-in cable allows the FSI APU to be located up to 20 kilometers away from the protected perimeter zone and provides maximum integrated system design flexibility," added Mr. Ikeda.
