Project Walk, Franchise Las Vegas Set to Open February 10, 2014
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- Project Walk Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center is excited to announce that its Las Vegas location will officially open February 10, 2014 located at 365 Pilot Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
As part of the Project Walk franchised network, Project Walk – Las Vegas is the second location to open its doors. Based on The Dardzinski Method, Project Walk is the pioneer in activity-based recovery and has established itself as a global leader in spinal cord injury recovery through its unique approach to improving function below the level of injury. With the addition of the Las Vegas location, Project Walk will now be available to bring its services to those unable to travel to the California centers.
“We are thrilled to bring the Project Walk brand to the city of Las Vegas,” says Brian Malkinson, Director of Operations . “With this new franchised location, Project Walk can offer its world class programs and training services to the local disability population.”
The franchise is owned by newlyweds Terry Moffatt and Dawn Huston, both familiar to the benefits of the Project Walk method as Huston suffers from a high cervical spinal cord injury and has been attending the Project Walk – Carlsbad location since 2010.
“It is a dream come true to be opening this center,” explains Huston. “The improvements I’ve made at Project Walk are unheard of, and now we have an opportunity to bring the experience to those living in Las Vegas.”
Moffatt adds, “We know what it’s like to have to leave your home and travel to a Project Walk location. Our hope is that by opening in Las Vegas, those affected by a disability won’t have to travel as far, if at all.”
