Williams Mullen Welcomes Litigation Attorney Cameron Rountree
Richmond, VA (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Cameron Rountree has joined the firm as an Associate in the Litigation practice. He will be working out of the Norfolk and Virginia Beach offices.
Before joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Rountree worked in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he tried several federal jury trials and investigated cases with federal agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Drug Enforcement Administration. The experience provided him a close perspective on the way the Eastern District functions. During his time there, he served as lead or sole counsel on five federal jury trials, argued hearings, wrote appeals to the Fourth Circuit and responded to habeas corpus petitions. He also gained practical experience as a law clerk to a federal judge advising on civil and criminal matters.
Cameron earned his Juris Doctor from the William and Mary School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the William and Mary Bill of Rights Journal. He earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he double majored in Government (American Politics) and Spanish.
