UO Miracle presents ElectrO, 1/25

As an event sponsor, LumiCord will sell bright green glow-in-the-dark plastic cord at the event and donate 20% of proceeds to UO Miracle.

On January 25, LumiCord will participate in "Electr0," a dance fundraiser benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Presented by UO Miracle, Electr0 is a dance-till-you-drop event running from 2am to 2pm with 12 solid hours of DJs and dancing. With less than two weeks to go, UO Miracle has already sold more than 500 tickets and raised more than a third of its $30,000 fundraising goal.

As an event sponsor, LumiCord will sell bright green glow-in-the-dark plastic cord at the event and donate 20% of proceeds to UO Miracle. LumiCord will also offer a special online discount on pre-event LumiCord sales for Electr0 attendees. Charged by blacklight, LumiCord will light up the dancefloor during rave hours of the dance event. Students are encouraged to incorporate glow-in-the-dark LumiCord into their dance outfits.

UO Miracle is a University of Oregon student-run philanthropic organization committed to providing emotional and financial support for the patients and families in the NICU at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Hospital at RiverBend. Through year-long programming, UO Miracle works with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, the student body, and families to make miracles happen and cultivate a sense of unity and school spirit on the University of Oregon campus.

The January 25th event honors yearlong fundraising efforts, highlights the fight against childhood cancer, and celebrates life. Since its establishment in 2007, UO Miracle has raised more than $50,000 for children. LumiCord is proud to participate in this important fundraising event.
