Former Amazon Web Services Executive Joins Bitcasa as Vice President of Business Development

Lyons will lead the company’s global partner and strategic alliance program to address the substantial growth and increased demand for Bitcasa’s Secure Storage Platform.

Prior to joining Bitcasa, Lyons was senior manager of global storage business development at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, Lyons built and led a worldwide business development team focused on customer needs, product development, and realizing new revenue growth. Lyons also launched early hybrid enterprise cloud storage solutions in the financial and healthcare sectors during his career, and held senior leadership positions at technology companies, including Brocade, GlassHouse Technologies and Exario.
