HealthPRO® Rehabilitation, recently merged with Heritage Healthcare Inc., announced this week that it has acquired Matthews, North Carolina based Rehab Solutions, Inc. (“RSI”). Rehab Solutions is a leading provider of contract therapy and reimbursement solutions to senior living providers in ten states with a reputation for strong clinical programming, reimbursement expertise, and innovative technology solutions.
The Heritage Healthcare team will assume responsibility for the operations of RSI given the geographic fit and cultural similarities of the organizations. This ensures that a strong foundation is in place to continue RSI’s tradition of outstanding care and service. Paul Shaw, President, stated, “We have a lot of respect for what Dan Garrett (RSI’s founder) and his team have created at RSI over the last 19 years. I have known Dan and many members of his team personally and their integrity and commitment to quality care is exceptional. We look forward to uniting our clinical teams with the vision of delivering compassionate care to the residents we have the privilege of serving while setting the standard of care in our industry.”
With the addition of RSI, HealthPRO® and Heritage Healthcare solidify their position as one of the largest independent therapy providers in the profession employing 5,000 associates in twenty-four states. The addition of RSI further strengthens operations in the Southeast and Midwest and brings attractive value added solutions for both associates and customers. It also provides an attractive option for senior care providers looking to partner with a therapy provider with extensive resources and clinical solutions for their residents.
HealthPRO®, most commonly known for its industry-leading in house management model and diversified services spanning the continuum from acute care through senior living and pediatric settings, was originally founded in 1997. “Bringing the three companies (HealthPRO®, Heritage Healthcare and Rehab Solutions) together allows us to capitalize on our strengths, while adding depth to our management team and field operations that clearly positions us as the premier provider in the therapy space,” said CEO John Heller.
