Vicki LoPachin, MD, Appointed Chief Medical Officer of The Mount Sinai Hospital
NY, NY (PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- Vicki LoPachin, MD, who completed her residency training in internal medicine at Mount Sinai, and who previously served on the medical staff as an internal medicine specialist, has been appointed Chief Medical Officer of The Mount Sinai Hospital. Prior to this post, Dr. LoPachin served as Medical Director of the North Shore University Hospital

Previously, Dr. LoPachin served as President of the Association of Attending Staff, Lead Physician Advisor and Medical Director of Case Management, Chair of the Utilization Review Committee, and member of the Executive Committee of the Medical Board at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. LoPachin received her MBA with distinction in Health Service Management from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University. Dr. LoPachin is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Medical Quality, the American College of Physician Executives and the American College of Healthcare Executives, and is an Invited Fellow of the American College of Physicians. She is also a committee member of the New York chapter of the American College of Physicians Quality Task Force.
Dr. LoPachin received her MD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.
