We are excited to come to Massachusetts to help educate consumers that they can keep their utility, have a choice as to who supplies their power, and help them understand that with choice comes the opportunity to save on their power bill.
Auburn, ME (PRWEB) January 15, 2014
Provider Power, New England’s largest competitive electricity supply company, has entered the Massachusetts market offering significant savings to residential and small business electricity customers.
Provider Power Mass (providerpowermass.com) is part of the Provider Power (providerpower.com) family of companies which includes ENH Power (in New Hampshire) and Electricity Maine. Collectively the companies provide electricity to more than 200,000 residential and small businesses customers in the two states.
“We are excited to come to Massachusetts to help both educate consumers that they can keep their utility, have a choice as to who supplies their power, and help them understand that with choice comes the opportunity to save on their power bill,” said Emile Clavet, co-owner of Provider Power.
As of January 1, 2014, depending on utility, most consumers in eastern Massachusetts who switch to Provider Power Mass can save between 10% and 15%-for a 6 month fixed contract, compared to the supply rates being offered by their utility.
“It’s clear that Massachusetts consumers are looking for an alternative to the higher supply rates being offered by their utility,” said Clavet. “What we also know is consumers aren’t looking for larger national companies to come to town. As a New England-owned company, we provide more than just competitive rates.”
Through their Power to Help Fund, Electricity Maine and ENH Power have given more than $200,000 to community groups and non-profits in those states. “We’ll be rolling out a similar program here in Massachusetts. Our customers will help guide the initiative, recommending organizations in their communities that are of interest to them that we should support.”
