Gulf Coast Educators Insurance Supports Elementary School Reading Challenge

We believe in supporting our students; they are our future leaders. It was our honor to be able to participate in the school's reading challenge.

Naples, FL (PRWEB) January 16, 2014

The Southwest Florida Homeowners Insurance Agency, Gulf Coast Educators Insurance, recently participated in a reading challenge at Lake Trafford Elementary School in Collier County Florida. "We believe in supporting our students; they are our future leaders. It was our honor to be able to participate in the school's reading challenge," states Ron DeFreitas, owner of Gulf Coast Educators Insurance.

DeFreitas and his insurance agent team donated bikes to the Lake Trafford Elementary's school-wide reading challenge, “Reading Counts” just before the holidays in 2013. The bicycles were used as reading incentives and prizes for participating in the program. Every time students accumulate 25 points they received a ticket for a chance to win a bike.

“As a Horace Mann Insurance Agency, we are committed to supporting our educators and local educational community. Being able to support schools with various goals and various charities such as DonorsChoose, allows us to give back to the community and help support our nation’s education system,” adds DeFreitas.

Gulf Coast Educators Insurance is a Horace-Mann Insurance Agency that provides various insurance products for Florida residents. The GCEI Insurance Agents offer custom auto insurance, property insurance, and life insurance policies for educators and non-educators alike.

Gulf Coast Educators Insurance also provides renters insurance, flood insurance and insurance for condominium owners. “Many of our clients have condos on the water so it’s imperative they carry the proper insurance should they be in harm’s way- especially during hurricane season,” explains DeFreitas.

“We encourage homeowners to come talk with us about the various discounts available. We will review a client’s insurance policy and see where we can help them save money. We look forward to helping our clients and the community. It has been a real pleasure to be a part of the school’s efforts to improve our students” adds DeFreitas.

With three convenient locations to choose from in Naples, Florida, Port Charlotte, Florida and Fort Myers, Florida homeowners, condominium owners and renters can get high quality yet affordable insurance coverage.
