RapidFire Tools, Inc. Introduces New Way To Automate IT Assessments
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January 16, 2014 -- Rapidfire Tools, Inc., the world-leader in non-invasive IT assessment tools, announced today the release of a new add-on that, for the first time, allows service providers to automate the regular or periodic collection of network scans from multiple client sites and have the resulting data files available for download directly into the Network Detective application.
The new Network Detective Client-Connector™ add-on promises to dramatically reduce the time and hassle of going on site to each client to run the network scans and manually import them into the tool. Additionally, unlike relying exclusively on RMM tools to schedule and collect the scan files, Client-Connector completes the process by providing direct access and downloads directly into the Network Detective application to generate the reports.

The new add-on allows service providers to write their own scripts to customize for each client and network which type of IT assessment scans to run, what devices to include in the scan, and with what frequency. They can create the scripts using their RMM tool, a stand-alone scripting engine, or Microsoft’s Task Scheduler.
RapidFire Tools includes general instructions and scripting guidelines along with the add-on. After each data scan is completed and saved locally, it is automatically uploaded to a secure cloud storage facility where it can be directly accessed from inside of the Network Detective application.
Client-Connector is available as an add-on to any Network Detective subscription, and can be used on an unlimited number of client sites and can be used to collect network data from servers, and/or additional data directly from an PC connected to the internet.
