Myrtle Beach's Award-Winning Ocean Lakes Family Campground To Host 14th Annual Beach N' Boogie Weekend
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (PRWEB) January 20, 2014 -- Myrtle Beach, S.C.'s Ocean Lakes Family Campground will host its 14th Annual Beach n' Boogie Weekend from Feb. 14 through Feb. 15. Beach music and fun activities are just a few of the things that will be available for the entire family. The celebration is exclusively for guests of the campground and sites are still available.
The festivities will kick off on Friday, Feb. 14, with a performance by The Craig Woolard Band from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, Feb. 15, shag lessons will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. by Judy Duke, and music from Jim Quick & Coastline will wrap up the day from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“We've organized this 2014 event to be the best Beach n' Boogie Weekend yet,” said Barb Krumm, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Ocean Lakes Family Campground. “The festivities can be attended by all ages. Many guests compliment us on the smoke-free, alcohol-free, family-friendly environment.”
Tickets for the Beach n' Boogie Weekend are $20 for adults and $5 for children 4-11. Each ticket entitles a participant to a wristband that is good for admission to all events. The wristband must be worn at all times. All events will be held in the Recreation Center. Ocean Lakes has also planned several additional weekends with special activities for its guests. They include: Quilt Gala (Feb. 21 - Feb. 22), 16th Annual Bluegrass Weekend (Aug. 22 - Aug. 23), Gospel Weekend (Sept. 19 - Sept. 21), Fall Craft Fair (Sept. 27), three Halloween weekends (beginning on Oct. 17 and ending Nov. 1), and the Polar Bear Plunge (Dec. 31).
