Mark Aschemeyer Joins HiSoftware as VP of Sales

HiSoftware Inc., a leading provider of compliance and security solutions, today announced that former BA Insight executive and seasoned SharePoint professional, Mark Aschemeyer, joined the company as Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for managing the global sales strategy, team and processes to drive revenue.

As HiSoftware’s Vice President of Sales, Aschemeyer has global responsibility for the company’s sales strategy and processes to generate revenue through the company’s direct sales force and various channels of distribution. Aschemeyer brings over 20 years of software sales experience including 10 years in the SharePoint space and draws on his experience with multiple sales channels including direct, OEM, channel, and international markets. He previously spent 6 years at BA Insight, a leader in search-based agile information integration, as their Regional Vice President of Sales. There he built several US territories, as well as the Australia market, taking revenue from less than $500K to over $10 million in 4 years. Prior to BA Insight, Aschemeyer was at CorasWorks, a provider of solutions and applications for the Microsoft SharePoint platform. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration, from Western State Colorado University.
