A&E Duck Dynasty's Phil and Al Robertson to Speak at Plumstead Christian School's Special Speaker Series On Saturday, May 10, 2014
Souderton, PA (PRWEB) January 20, 2014 -- Phil and Al Robertson of A&E Duck Dynasty fame will be the keynote speakers at Plumstead Christian School’s Special Speaker Series on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at the campus of Calvary Church in Souderton, Pennsylvania.
In the 1970’s Phil made two decisions that set the course of his life. He turned his life over to the Lord, and he decided to turn his passion for hunting and fishing into a business. Duck Commander was incorporated soon after this, and the Robertson family has built their business into a multi-million dollar enterprise.
Allen, Phil’s oldest son, helped build Duck Commander in the early years, but when he received the call for full-time ministry in 1988 he left the family business and now serves as a senior pastor in West Monroe, Louisiana.
“We are excited about having Phil and Al Robertson with us on May 10, 2014. Their personal stories and their engaging style will be motivational to our students, their families, and to the general public,” said PCS Headmaster Patrick Fitzpatrick. “We’re planning on having a lot of fun with the Robertsons, and to add to the fun we will be opening the night with the live music of Bonner, an up and coming Christian band comprised of three PCS graduates and a current PCS student – all from the same family.”
The school has a rich history of attracting some of the nation’s most influential Christian voices including this year’s Founders Forum speaker Dr. Ben Carson. Past speakers include President George W. Bush, Tim Tebow, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Vice President Dan Quayle, columnist and commentator Cal Thomas, author and former missionary Elisabeth Elliott, and Christian leader and co-founder of the Moral Majority, the late Jerry Falwell.
Phil and Al will appear at two back-to-back events during the evening: a catered dinner for sponsors only that begins at 5:30 p.m. and the main event where they will participate in a moderated forty-five-minute question and answer session. Both events will be held on the campus of Calvary Church in Souderton, Pennsylvania, and tickets are available for the main event at http://www.plumsteadchristian.org/tickets/. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please direct all serious inquiries about remaining available corporate or individual sponsorships to Patrick Fitzpatrick at 215-766-8073 or at Speakers(at)plumsteadchristian(dot)org.
