Diane Hamilton, president of Relevé Unlimited (http://www.releveunlimited.com/), Santa Barbara- and Solvang-based destination management company (DMC) and event production firm, has officially announced the new partnership between Relevé Unlimited and the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association (SBCVA; http://www.sbcountywines.com/). The partnership will expand upon the scheduling and exposure of previous years’ Santa Barbara Vintners Spring Weekend and Santa Barbara Vintners Celebration of Harvest Weekend, via the addition of regional, ongoing, year-round wine industry events surrounding the SBCVA’s overall mission, as well as the two seasonal festivals.
In an effort to boost and broaden support for Santa Barbara Wine Country and the SBCVA’s work and membership base, the Association selected the local Santa Ynez Valley agency, Relevé Unlimited, to help bring the Association’s festivals and events to a wider audience, and to increase the scale, availability, variety and quality of each event’s activities.

Both the 2014 Santa Barbara Vintners Spring Weekend, to be held April 10-13, and the Santa Barbara Vintners Celebration of Harvest Weekend, to be held October 9-12, will entail various events covering multiple days, catering to consumers, media and other trade individuals.
Hamilton continued, “Our partnership with the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association is founded on the desire to gain more momentum for the region’s wine industry, and to provide a multitude of forward-thinking opportunities for enhanced exposure for the Association’s members, and the festivals’ sponsors and vendors.”
The four-day Santa Barbara Vintners Spring Weekend – expected to draw upwards of 5,000 attendees – will have an event schedule to include winemaker discovery lunches, a consumer and trade educational seminar series, a celebratory 90+ top-rated wine dinner, a golf tournament, vineyard hikes, exclusive VIP events, the annual Vintners’ Spring Festival/Grand Tasting at Buellton’s River View Park, and as a weekend finale, a Farm-to-Table Picnic and Concert at Firestone Vineyards. The fall Santa Barbara Vintners Celebration of Harvest Weekend will also include special enhanced experiences sprinkled throughout Columbus Day Weekend.
The announcement of Relevé’s partnership with the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association, comes on the heels of an action-packed year for Relevé and its growing ranks of both clients and staff: In February 2013, Relevé moved into a new, larger office space in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country, in order to accommodate the firm’s burgeoning staff numbers and further growth.
In 2013 alone, Relevé Unlimited secured multiple multi-million dollar contracts with companies in a variety of industries – from natural foods to aviation, pharmaceuticals to insurance – each entity signing Relevé as their designated event planning and destination management company. Relevé was called upon to produce events for 20 to 600 attendees at any given activity, which included seminars, catered parties, ground transportation and logistics services, tours of all sorts, outdoor and team-building activities, and musical performances, including an intimate, private event at the Santa Barbara Bowl, featuring a dinner and concert by Sheryl Crow.

Reaching beyond California’s Central Coast, Relevé was contracted for the second time as the destination and event management company for the National Association of State Retirement Administrators (NASRA) Annual Conference held in Portland, Oregon, in August 2013.
Relevé Unlimited was also honored in 2013, with the appointment as Executive Producer of the Elephant Parade®: Welcome to America (http://www.mydanapoint.com/elephants), held in Dana Point, California, in conjunction with The Resorts of Dana Point (http://www.mydanapoint.com/). The Elephant Parade is the world's largest open-air exhibition of life-sized, decorated elephant statues created by local and international artists and celebrities, intended to generate worldwide attention, public awareness and support for the endangered Asian elephant.
