SouthAmerica.travel LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Venezuelan tours to its tour and vacation package offerings. As demand for tourism in this culture-rich country increases, SouthAmerica.travel, already a leader in travel and tourism to many South American countries, has developed several tour packages that highlight Venezuela’s unique offerings. Adventurers and tourists alike will find that there is much to do in Venezuela and will appreciate both the country’s scenic landscape and its rich history and culture.

“Venezuela is an incredibly beautiful place and is much easier to visit now. Not too many tourists have been to Venezuela, so it is a place where you can really explore uncharted territory and appreciate untouched beauty,” said Kaitlin McMichael, Marketing Manager.

The company’s Highlights of Venezuela Tour is a 5 day/4 night guided tour that will give travelers a well-rounded taste of what Venezuela has to offer its visitors. The tour begins in the capital city of Caracas, which is just 30 minutes off of the coastline. After a night here, guests will visit Canaima National park, which has includes some of the most jaw-dropping natural sights in the world, including Angel Falls, the world’s tallest waterfall; tepuis, rock plateaus rising up thousands of meters from the forest floor; and beautiful lagoons. Accommodations are in an eco-lodge in Canaima. The final night of the tour returns to Caracas, where guests can relax in their hotel on the Caribbean or take advantage of Caracas’ nightlife.

Venezuela is rapidly becoming a hot spot among travelers to South America. In 2012, the country’s tourism was up by 25 percent over 2011 and up 46 percent from 2010. In recent years, the country’s government has made a concerted effort to attract tourists, and travelers are discovering the advantages of visiting now, while it’s still unspoiled and less crowded than some of its neighboring destinations.

“SouthAmerica.travel was founded to give travelers the ultimate South America travel experience, and we are happy to include Venezuela packages as part of our vacation offerings,” concluded McMichael.
