Salisbury-Rowan Community Action Agency Appoints New Finance Director and Human Resources Director
Salisbury, North Carolina (PRWEB) January 21, 2014 -- Curtis comes to the agency with over 25 years of experience in leading finance departments in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining SRCAA he served as VP Finance/CFO at Direct ChassisLink, Inc. and Sr. Director/CFO of Maersk Equipment Service Co. In his capacity as CFO, Mike has been responsible for fiscal operations for organizations with revenues in excess of $200 million. He possesses a bachelor’s degree from the University of New York and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). "At this time in my life I am excited to transition my extensive corporate financial experience to a worthy non profit" said Mike Curtis.
Abernathy joins SRCAA with 18 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining the agency she served as the Human Resources Manager for Family Services of Davidson County, Inc. Ms. Abernathy has a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and a Professional Human Resources (PHR) designation. She has worked in a human resources capacity for organizations with up to 7,500 employees.
