Hope For The Warriors® is pleased to announce addition of Lieutenant Colonel Bob Myers, USA (Ret.) to their Board of Directors. Myers is the CEO of Casey’s General Store, a Midwest chain. Hope For The Warriors® is a national nonprofit organization that assists post-9/11 service members, their families, and families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.
Before joining Casey’s staff, Myers served 22 years in the United States Army. His service included tours of duty in Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Kuwait. Myers is dedicated to supporting Hope For The Warriors® and to supporting military families.
“Bob served his country honorably as an officer in the Army for many years,” Robin Kelleher, Hope For The Warriors® president said. “Today, he continues to serve others through his leadership at Casey’s.”
There are almost 1,800 Casey’s General Stores throughout the Midwest. With a diverse variety of fundraising activities, Casey’s and its stores contributed more than $4.5 million last year to many community and charitable organizations and events. In the month of May, Casey’s focuses on military families by raising funds for Hope For The Warriors® in honor of Memorial Day.
