X20 with John Rafferty of TRIC

The X20 is a great package . . . and if I was starting a company this is the one tool I'd want in my pocket.

Alameda, CA (PRWEB) January 23, 2014

TRIC Tools, Inc. is participating in the annual UCT Conference in Houston, TX, January 27th through January 30th. The UCT Show will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida De Las Americas, Houston, TX. The event begins at 8:30 am, Monday, January 27th and adjourns at 12 Noon, Thursday, January 30th. Michael Lien, Director of Operations, will represent TRIC Tools and present the White Paper "The Boom in Sewer Lateral Replacements" at 8:30am on Wednesday, January 29th at the event. TRIC will also showcase its X20 Pipe Bursting Unit in the Rehab Zone. "TRIC's 20 ton unit has been working in the field for over 16 years and enabling contractors to reduce Inflow and Infiltration (I&I) into the Sanitary Sewer System and this unit has been a 'workhorse for a number of Plumbing Franchises during that time," remarked Mr. Lien. TRIC's cable pulling ram helped launch a new Industry for Lateral Pipe Bursting in 1997.

The 'X' Series Pipe Bursting System combines a compact size and harnesses enough power to split 1" through 6" laterals in an attractive package. "The X20 is a great package for anyone replacing waterlines, gas lines and 4" sewer replacements, and if I was starting a company this is the one tool I'd want in my pocket," said TRIC's Director of Training, John Rafferty.

TRIC invented and patented the first practical Lateral Pipe Bursting System while simultaneously gaining national approval of HDPE pipe for its use, thus opening the market for trenchless home sewer replacement in America. TRIC has since added municipal cable pulling systems to its arsenal, always employing their formula of modular portability, including pneumatic and steel splitting heads designed to replace various pipe sizes from 1/2" to 12" diameter.
