Ambit 2 Sapphire is the toughest GPS watch for fitness and navigation for 2014 according to the Heart Rate Watch Company.
"Truth be known, it is the toughest GPS watch ever made", says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "Sapphire is unscratchable by any natural substance besides a diamond and if you scratch it on a diamond that is a good problem to have".
Suunto Ambit 2 series added swim features for laps, strokes, distance and cycling features that include power output, pace, distance and more. "This watch is superb for triathlon but adds tons of extra sports options and features like trackback navigation", says Squire.
With trackback navigation on screen, a barometric altimeter, compass and the ability to add up to 1,000 apps from everything from sailing to crickett, there is not much that the Suunto Ambit 2 Sapphire cannot master. "It's the most complete GPS watch on the planet for the "lets go do everything" type", says Squire.
Beefy Battery Life
The Suunto Ambit 2 can last about 16 hours at one second recording but it will get closer to 24 hours if you change the interval to 5 seconds thanks to an update last year. "This is huge for ultra-marathoners", says Squire. He adds, "For mountain climbing types you can get 40 hours plus at 1 minute intervals and use a Goal Zero charger to remote charge so it lasts for many days", says Squire.
Complimentary Fitness Books
The Heart Rate Watch Company gives away two complimentary fitness books entitled "How To Successfully Use A Heart Rate Monitor" and "How To Elevate Fitness With Strength and Interval Training" with every purchase. "We want to make sure people get the right information so they can get off on the right foot", says Squire.
Call The Experts
"People throw the word expert around, we don't", says Squire. He adds, "Simply call us at 866-586-7129 and see what a difference it truly makes to have an advocate".
