We’re at a point in this country where although more and more people are accepting of each other’s differences, stories about bullying and inequality are prevalent. Celebrities like Lady Gaga and her “Little Monster” fan base are trying to change this by spreading love and acceptance.

A new book written by Little Monsters and “Born This Way Ball” tour photographer Tracey B Wilson teaches readers to find the courage to let go of who you think you should be, and celebrate who you really are. "Heal This Way" features quotes and letters from more than 100 Little Monsters from all over the world, who share their raw emotions about coming out, bullying, thoughts of suicide, and the need for acceptance. Stunning portraits taken by Tracey B Wilson capture their vulnerability, bravery and beauty.

“Once in a while you read a book and it changes you. You can’t ‘un-know’ what you have read and experienced. That’s what this book was for me. Yes, we are lonely, scared, and sometimes vulnerable. We are also brave, courageous, passionate, and worthy of connection,” said Diane Murray-Fleck, MSW, CPC, TurningPoint Strategy. “This book is a call to action. 'Heal This Way' asks us to take to the streets with our wonderful, imperfect, messy, wild lives and be seen.”

“When Lady Gaga was forced to cancel the "Born This Way Ball" her biggest fans wanted to let Mother Monster know they loved her and would support her through her hip injury. A signup sheet, three tweets, and 107 Little Monsters later, 'Heal This Way' was born,” said author Tracey B. Wilson. “The book started out as a gift to Lady Gaga but became too profound not to be shared, so we created a public version. And at Valentine’s Day, it’s the perfect way to tell someone you love and support them, no matter who they are.”

This thought-provoking book, geared to LGBTQ youth, provides a Pop culture, non-threatening way to begin the conversation. Published by Hot Glue Press LLC, "Heal This Way' is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble online, and iTunes. More information is available at: http://www.healthisway.com.
