While much of the world was celebrating Christmas and the New Year, regrettably the final weeks of December 2013 saw a marked increase in violent incidents in the Middle East, including yet another attack on the Marib pipeline in Yemen, and further instability in Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, South Sudan and Turkey.

“Duty of Care” for foreign and national workers is a pressing consideration for Security and HSSE Managers from Oil and Gas companies operating in the Middle East currently. This topic will be addressed in depth at the 3rd Oil & Gas Security Summit in Dubai on the 4th-5th of March 2014.

Duncan Lloyd, the HSE & Security Manager for Premier Oil will provide delegates with an understanding of how best to fulfil duty of care when operating in high or extreme risk areas. In addition, we are delighted to confirm that we will be joined by the Vice President of Corporate Security from GDF Suez, Jean-Phillipe Berillon, who will also be the Chairman for the second day of the meeting.

This exclusive senior level meeting will be held at the beautiful 5* Sofitel Jumeirah Beach hotel in Dubai.
