Winnipeg Humane Society Holds Book and Movie Sale in Support of Animals
Winnipeg, MB (PRWEB) January 23, 2014 -- PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Winnipeg Humane Society is calling out to supporters for donations of gently used books and DVDs of all genres. People may drop off their items at the front reception desk inside The Winnipeg Humane Society’s shelter (45 Hurst Way). No magazines please. The deadline for accepting donations is Monday, February 10.
A fundraising sale will be held at the shelter February 16 & 17 (Louis Riel Day) from 12-6 p.m.
All proceeds from the sale will be directed towards caring for the animals in the shelter and around the community.

Since 1894, The Winnipeg Humane Society has been Manitoba’s largest animal protection and welfare organization serving Winnipeg and surrounding communities. The WHS takes in over 8,000 unwanted, lost and abandoned animals each year, while advocating for the humane treatment of all animals.
