The Science Museum of Virginia Announces Boost! Health and Fitness Essay Contest

Boost! Contest asks elementary and high school students to talk about health and fitness.

Boost! your creativity, flexibility, memory and strength in the Science Museum of Virginia’s new permanent exhibition. Featuring cutting-edge design and technology, Boost! provides an unprecedented opportunity to explore, play and enjoy.

Boost! is an innovative, engaging and fun way to discover wellness — and thousands of students enjoyed the fun challenges this summer!. Boost celebrates health and fitness and the Museum would like to hear from students in the Science Museum of Virginia Boost! Health & Fitness Essay Contest. Students are asked to explore how total wellness is related to a combination of physical health, mental health and nutrition.

The first place students will receive prizes from the Museum, including a class field trip, family season pass and Shop4Science gift certificate. Second and third place students will also win prizes from the museum. In addition, the winning essays will be posted on http://www.TimesDispatch.com and the Science Museum of Virginia website, http://www.smv.org.
