Lorie Clements is a Jones Graduate School alumni and one of the Houston Business Journal’s honored 40 under 40 in 2013. Lorie’s experience as an adjunct professor at Rice made her the perfect candidate to be featured in the HBJ article, “Apply Business Principles to Nonprofits”. The class Lorie led was a capstone course in Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business’s executive and professional MBA programs. For the course, teams of Rice MBA students with 7 to 14 years of business experience consult with various Houston philanthropies on unique challenges to deliver business advice, direction and valuable consulting to local nonprofits in Houston. Also featured in the article is fellow Adjunct Professor David Van Horn, creator of the capstone class.
