BaseKit has also re-launched its website, enabling hosting companies to integrate BaseKit into their own sites easily through new integration functionalities, including a cPanel plugin.
The partnership represents the efforts made by BaseKit and CEO Juan Lobato, in partnering with the biggest, most successful hosting and domain-name companies. With 500m SMB’s globally, creating between them over 100m websites annually, this market is growing at an exponential rate. BaseKit itself is seeing 40,000 new websites a month created using its software via hosting company partners, and aims to deploy more than 100,000 new websites per month before the end of 2014.
100 partners marks a significant milestone for BaseKit as the company moves from strength to strength. Having won Seedcamp in 2008, which led to a £10m investment in the company, BaseKit has moved from a consumer focus towards the B2B market. It’s partnerships with leading hosting and domain companies, as well as other technology providers, has demonstrated the strength of its leading online platform.
