CoreCommerce Announces Sponsorship of ETPcast
Franklin, Tennessee (PRWEB) January 27, 2014 -- CoreCommerce, the leading e-commerce shopping cart solution, has announced a partnership with ETPcast, a popular entrepreneur focused podcast based in Nashville, Tennessee. The ETPcast podcast is powered by Belmont University’s Center for Entrepreneurship and has featured a wide variety of personalities, from best selling authors to tech and business leaders. The mission of ETPcast is to feature stories of entrepreneurship and help students connect with the vibrant community of entrepreneurs in Nashville and across the world. “We are excited to be part of the entrepreneurship movement in our community. The opportunity to sponsor ETPcast is a way for us to give back and to inspire up and coming entrepreneurs,” said Matt DeLong, CoreCommerce CEO.
ETPcast was founded in early 2013 by Belmont University alum Clark Buckner and Lisa Davis of Belmont University’s Center for Entrepreneurship to help alumni and students learn from the experiences of successful entrepreneurs. “From the beginning, we both saw a lot of opportunities for Belmont’s Center for Entrepreneurship and ETPcast to reach and motivate aspiring entrepreneurs everywhere. We are proud to involve Belmont students and alumni with hands on experience in each aspect of ETPcast, from the recording and production to marketing,” noted Davis.
Each episode of ETPcast features Buckner interviewing entrepreneurs and discussing topics from developing an initial business idea to crowdfunding. “I love sharing the stories behind entrepreneurs and startups we all admire. Understanding their journey and listening to the wisdom they’ve learned the hard way is a real asset to both students and young entrepreneurs,” explained Buckner. New episodes of ETPcast are released each week.
The partnership between CoreCommerce and ETPcast will go beyond sponsoring the podcast. CoreCommerce will also focus on helping student entrepreneurs get started with e-commerce, host events on e-commerce entrepreneurship and offer free online stores to qualifying students in Belmont’s Entrepreneurship program. “It’s important to not just talk about entrepreneurship but to show students in a tangible way beyond the classroom. An online store is a great tool to help students launch a business and give them an opportunity to put their business knowledge into action,” offered DeLong.
