StoreFinancial and the Minnesota Twins have launched a new private-label gift card, available for purchase at the Target Field box office, over the phone, at the Twins Majestic Clubhouse Store at Target Field, and at three off-site pro shops located in Roseville, Minnetonka and Apple Valley. Gift cards can be redeemed at all Twins pro shops as well as any merchant at Target Field for merchandise, concessions and tickets.
This program is new in the professional sports industry. It is the only gift card that uses a restricted authorization network (RAN) to allow purchase and redemption at any merchant the sports team chooses – either inside or outside the stadium.
StoreFinancial is program manager and payment processor for the Twins’ program. The Twins chose StoreFinancial to help provide fans more choice and convenience. The program features four different card designs and is available for purchase in denominations of $25, $50 and $100. Kip Elliot, CFO, Minnesota Twins explains, “Gift cards give our fans a convenient way to share the baseball experience with friends and family. Fans can also use gift cards for themselves as a way to manage their spending at games, or if they don’t want to carry cash during the game.”
