Healthcare Team Training (HTT) announced today it is changing its name to Synensis. The name change is a rebranding initiative to better align the company’s identity with future strategy. This decision was prompted by the fact that the company is no longer focused just on teams, or just training. The portfolio of services and tools reaches far beyond these descriptors to include customizable, outcome-driven solutions that improve patient safety, enhance the patient experience, and increase the capacity of healthcare leadership and providers to facilitate change. Additionally, the operations today are more global in nature and include product lines well beyond where the company began over ten years ago, such as Safety Culture Debriefs, safety management staffing and managing change related to large scale technology implementations.
“We believe the adoption of this new brand will support our growth and diversification so that we will be able to better serve healthcare organizations globally as they strive to deliver safe, patient-centric care,” states Stephen M. Powell, MS, President and Chief Executive Officer. “As the world of healthcare in this country and abroad seeks more integrated solutions to their organizational challenges, we have recognized a universal need for a more holistic and sustainable approach to continuous improvement – one built upon science and human nature.
“Over the past decade Synensis has developed and acquired the tools and know-how to help organizations transform from the ground up, and we have been able to codify this in a performance improvement system built around what we have come to term the “Healthy Organization.” Fundamentally, Synensis refers to the integrated dimensions of what we term the Healthy Organization, and how we help our clients synthesize their continuous improvement resources to achieve healthier outcomes and healthier patients. Even our logo element was designed to reflect the multifaceted and complex nature of healthcare organizations, demonstrating that Synensis both understands these interconnections, and to represent how the solutions we propose to organizations reach across silos to create an integrated approach to change, improvement and results.”
At Synensis, we believe that by creating healthier organizations, we can improve the quality of healthcare around the world, helping save thousands of lives each year. High functioning and knowledgeable leaders and teams are at the heart of a healthy organization. That’s where we start, providing the tools, knowledge, coaching, and training to heighten the interpersonal effectiveness of every member of the clinical and non-clinical teams. By helping healthcare systems with structure and direction, we position them to be leaders for this new era in healthcare delivery. We are advocates for this transformation in healthcare – because we know that healthier organizations produce healthier outcomes and ultimately, healthier patients.
