Broach Sports Tours Offers Two Packages for 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Charlotte, N.C. (PRWEB) January 25, 2014 -- Broach Sports Tours is offering discounts on two exciting packages for the 2014 Major League Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Fans putting down a 20 percent deposit by Jan. 31 will receive a $300 discount on Broach’s seven-game Hall of Fame Induction Combo tour, and a $100 discount on the shorter Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony package.
This is a great year for inductees, as Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and Frank Thomas will be inducted as players and Bobby Cox, Tony LaRussa and Joe Torre will be inducted as managers.
“This promises to be one of the best induction ceremonies ever, and certainly for Atlanta Braves fans,” Broach Sports Tours president Tom Broach said. “We have tailored one tour for all the festivities in Cooperstown, and another that additionally takes in seven games in seven cities.”
The Hall of Fame Induction ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, July 27, with the Parade of Legends the night before.
The Hall of Fame Induction ceremony package includes three nights hotel accommodations in Albany, N.Y. (July 25-27), admission to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and tickets to the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
That package is priced at $795 per person double occupancy, before the $100 discount.
The Hall of Fame Induction Combo Tour includes deluxe motorcoach transportation, game tickets, city tours, tours of various stadiums including Fenway Park, admission to the Hall of Fame and induction ceremony, and nine nights hotel accommodations in various cities.
The tour starts on July 23 with the Los Angeles Dodgers at Pittsburgh, then proceeds on to Philadelphia (vs. San Francisco), to New York (Yankees vs. Toronto), then on to Cooperstown, then on to Boston (vs. Toronto), back to New York (Mets vs. Philadelphia), then to Baltimore (vs. LA Angels), and wraps up in Washington (vs. Philadelphia).
That package is priced at $2250 per person double occupancy before the $300 discount.
“This might be the best induction class ever,” Broach said. “And Cooperstown is a shrine that every baseball fan must experience. It’s the ultimate bucket list item for baseball fans of all ages.”
Maddux played for the Braves, Cubs, Padres and Dodgers in a career that spanned from 1986 to 2008. Glavine played from 1987 to 2008 mostly with the Braves before finishing up his career with the Mets. Thomas played for the White Sox, A’s and Blue Jays from 1990-2008.
