Sirenis Hotels & Resorts and Sirenis Premium Travelers Club Celebrate The Holidays With Three Major Charity Events
Ibiza, Spain (PRWEB) February 11, 2014 -- Sirenis Hotels & Resorts, together with its vacation club brand, Sirenis Premium Travelers Club, celebrated the 2013 holiday season by hosting three major charity events in Riviera Maya and Punta Cana. These locations are the home of their two major resorts, Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya and Sirenis Resort Punta Cana. The goal of all three unique events was to give underprivileged children in these communities a magical holiday season.
The resort company kicked off the holiday season in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with their unqiue “Breakfast with Santa” event. The event was held at the resort, and hosted 135 children, 35 teachers and volunteer parents from La Ceiba public school. The guests of honor enjoyed a resort day pass that included a delicious breakfast buffet, an individual picture with Santa, a special gift (from Santa), and a day in the beautiful Sirenis Aquagames Water Park.
Sirenis executives did a magnificent job organizing the event--every detail was contemplated in order to assure a fun and safe day for the children.
“The event was an amazing experience! I think we enjoyed it as much as the children! To see the children’s faces gleam with joy when they saw Santa arrive--that was priceless,” said Lucero Lagarde, Sirenis Premium Travelers Operations Manager.

The second charity event of the season was the Toy Drive in Punta Cana. In honor of the “3 Wise Men” celebration held on January 6th, the co-workers of Sirenis Premium Travelers and Sirenis Resort Punta Cana Casino & Aquagames donated toys to the orphan children from the Fundación Hogar Un Mundo Mejor para la Niñez Desamparada orphanage in Higüey.
During the month of December employees had the opportunity to purchase toys and bring them to work to donate to the drive. The morning of January 6th, an employee committee brought all of the toys, which included numerous bicycles and tricycles, to the orphanage.
Upon their arrival at the orphanage the executives were surprised by the wonderful greeting they received: the children were singing Christmas carols. The children were delighted to receive such nice toys and the executives where as delighted as them for being able to give these children a great moment of joy.
The final holiday event was held at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa and like the other events, created a magical day for some local children. The event brought first-graders from the Akumal public school to the resort to enjoy a private breakfast with the “3 Wise Men.” Each child received a gift and an individual picture with the 3 Wise Men. Entertainment was provided by the hotel’s activities department staff.
