Exigent Technologies, a leading managed IT and cloud services company, today announced its President Daniel J. Haurey has been appointed to lead the Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) VentureTech Network (VTN) Big Apple Chapter. Founded more than 15 years ago, the award-winning Big Apple Chapter is comprised of more than 40 of New Jersey and New York’s top-performing IT service companies. Ingram Micro’s VTN community represents approximately 340 of North America’s best-performing and most strategic IT service providers.
As president of the Big Apple Chapter, Haurey is responsible for leading the overall strategic direction of the local chapter. Throughout his one-year term as president, Haurey will help steer discussions and actions taken by the Big Apple Chapter, and serve as a voice of influence within the IT vendor community and greater VTN peer group.
“Serving as president of a VTN Chapter requires great dedication, drive and understanding of the power of partnership and what Ingram Micro and the VTN community can do to help you build a better business,” says John Fago, senior director, channel marketing, Ingram Micro North America. “Dan’s enthusiasm for and expertise in IT services, combined with his knowledge of Ingram Micro and success within VTN, make him a great choice for president of VTN’s Big Apple Chapter.”
Exigent Technologies has been a member of Ingram Micro’s VTN community for more than eight years. Haurey attributes several of his firm’s best practices, services and successful business ventures to insights, resources and alliances gained from ties to Ingram Micro and VTN.
“Ingram Micro and the VTN community are an integral part of our company’s success and it’s an honor to give back and serve as the president of the elite Big Apple Chapter,” says Haurey. “There’s no doubt that 2014 will be an exciting year for IT and Ingram Micro’s VTN community, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
