Katy Perry, the worldwide superstar and pop princess recently announced her third headlining tour. The “PRISMATIC” world tour will kick off in North America in June when she travels to the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina and will conclude with a show in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center. The middle leg of the tour will give fans attending the “PRISMATIC” world tour pop music, mixed with country. Musgraves is one of the rising stars in country music and is one of the top breakout stars from 2013. She is a talented writer that has been nominated for Country Music Awards and Grammy Awards for two songs, “Mama’s Broken Heart,” performed by Miranda Lambert, and “Merry Go ‘Round,” Musgraves’ breakout hit. She earned four nominations for the Grammy Awards, tying with Lorde and Taylor Swift for the most of any female in 2014.
The last leg of the tour will see Tegan and Sara open for Perry. Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin are identical twins that formed their group in 1995 when they were just 15. They have travelled around the world, performing with many of the most respected musical acts.
