Denver, Colo. (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Denver-based Spectrum Retirement LLC, known for senior living communities that deliver luxury at an affordable price, has named Kristi Oliver as its newest Vice President of Operations.
Oliver will oversee the company’s Western Division, which includes Illinois, Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, New York and New Mexico. She joins Spectrum from Sunrise Senior Living, where she held multiple operational positions over her nine-year tenure, most recently regional director of operations in the Chicago area. During her career with Sunrise, Oliver earned accolades for her ability to care for residents, lead teams and build communities of excellence.
“Kristi is a seasoned professional with experience in all aspects of senior living operations,” said Spectrum Senior Vice President and COO Joe Mikalajunas. “Our residents and staff will benefit from her focus on the human aspect of our business as well as her compassion and administrative expertise.”
Oliver has an extensive career in health care and staffing. Prior to Sunrise, she was a branch manager at Medical Staffing Network in Des Plaines, Ill., and an affiliate administrator of Delta-T Group, a behavioral health care staffing company, in Oak Brook, Ill. Oliver started her career in employee placement, as both division director for international recruiting and placement firm Robert Half International and as a private services manager for Tenet Health System, both in St. Louis, Mo. Recognized as a rising star early, Oliver was promoted to branch manager of Kelly Assisted Living Services after just one year in the industry.
Spectrum is known throughout the industry for its focus on excellence,” said Oliver. “I’m honored to become part of this growing, respected organization.”
Oliver earned two bachelor degrees – one in business management, the other in marketing – from Westmar College in LeMars, Iowa. She served as an assisted living cabinet member with Life Services Network, a statewide association in Illinois that represents the leading providers of the complete continuum of services for older adults, including nursing care, supportive and assisted living, senior housing, and home- and community-based services. She plans to relocate to Denver to fulfill her new role.
