AdEase, a San Diego-based Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations Agency is proud to announce that it has been selected as the Agency of Record to provide Media Strategy, Planning and Buying services for PaintCare, Inc. AdEase won the account over a multi-agency pitch in late 2013.

PaintCare, Inc. is a non-profit organization established by the American Coatings Association to implement paint stewardship programs in California and other states that currently have paint stewardship laws. Paint Stewardship Laws require paint manufacturers to develop a take back system for leftover paint from households and businesses.

Passed in 2010, California’s Paint Stewardship Law has set up more than 500 drop-off sites for postconsumer (leftover) paint at retailers and other sites throughout California.

“We received several proposals for this contract,” said Paul Fresina, Director of Communication for PaintCare. “We chose AdEase because their proposal and attentive, professional staff stood heads and shoulders above the rest; I know we picked the right agency for the job.”

The agency will put together a 360 degree campaign that will blanket all 58 California Counties across TV, print, radio, out-of-home and online media, introducing this relatively new brand and service to Californians. Additional services may include creative strategy and production.

The $4 million two-year contract was awarded on January 16th. Planning is in full swing and the campaign is slated to launch later this year.
