ProtoShare Now Available Under GSA Contract
Portland, Oregon (PRWEB) January 28, 2014 -- Site9, Inc. today announced that the company has been awarded a Schedule 70 contract with the United States General Services Administration (GSA). Government agencies can now use the streamlined GSA process to purchase ProtoShare, one of the leading interactive wireframing and prototyping tools for the design of websites and mobile applications.
The Schedule 70 is a list of vendors GSA has pre-authorized to provide federal agencies with information technology equipment, software, and services. Under the new Site 9 GSA contract (GS-35-F-156BA), federal agencies will have access to the ProtoShare Business Edition on the GSA Advantage!® web site.
Websites and mobile applications have become essential tools for the federal government to interact with its citizens. Using prototypes to garner input and feedback from stakeholders during the design process makes the development of these communication tools far more efficient and cost-effective.
“We’re very pleased and proud to have been awarded the GSA contract,” said Bob Wiggins, CEO of Site9. “We’ve had a lot of interest in ProtoShare from within federal government agencies, and being on the GSA Schedule means it will be faster and easier for those customers to begin using ProtoShare.”
The GSA Schedules program is the premier acquisition vehicle in government, providing agencies with access to millions of commercial products and services at volume discount pricing. To be awarded the GSA Schedule 70 contract, Site 9 completed a rigorous evaluation process by the federal government, which assessed the company’s capabilities, performance, pricing and customer satisfaction, among other criteria.
